How to review clock-in change requests

Review employee correction requests from the Zeppri dashboard by comparing current and requested times, then approving or rejecting the change.

Before you start

  • Employees must already have submitted one or more clock-in change requests.
  • You need manager access to time tracking request review tools.

Steps

Open the request that needs review

Go to the relevant request list in time tracking and open the employee request you want to review.

What should happen: The review modal opens with the employee details and both sets of times.

Compare current times with requested times

Compare the original times with the requested changes and read the employee’s reason.

What should happen: You understand which times changed and why the employee requested the correction.

Approve or reject the request

Use the review actions to approve the correction or reject it with a reason if needed.

What should happen: The request leaves the pending state and the employee sees the final decision.

Result

The request is resolved and the employee’s record or review status updates accordingly.

Common problems

The request is no longer pending
Another manager may already have reviewed the request. Refresh the request list and confirm the latest status before taking further action.
