Before you start
- You need access to the add shift dialog on the Shifts page.
- Employees should already exist in the organization if you plan to assign them during creation.
Steps
Set the date range for the shift
In the add shift dialog, choose a start date and an end date for the range you want to cover.
What should happen: The dialog recognizes the entry as a range instead of a single date.
Exclude dates or days if needed
Remove any dates or weekdays you do not want the shift to apply to across the range.
What should happen: The shift preview excludes the days or dates you removed.
Assign one or more employees and save
Add all employees who should receive the shift, then save the dialog.
What should happen: Zeppri creates the shift across the selected dates and applies it to the selected employees.
Result
Common problems
The date range does not create the schedule I expected
