How to request a clock-in change

Submit a correction request from the activity history when your recorded clock-in, clock-out, or lunch times need to be adjusted.

Before you start

  • You have a clock-in record you want to fix.
  • You should know the correct times you want to request.

Steps

Open the clock-in record you want to change

Go to Activity and tap the clock-in record that contains the wrong times.

What should happen: The clock-in sheet opens with the recorded clock-in, clock-out, and lunch details.

Update the times that need correction

Tap the time fields that need to change and choose the correct values in the picker.

What should happen: The change summary reflects the difference between the original times and your requested times.

Add a reason for the request

Write a short reason for the change (your manager will see this).

What should happen: The submit action becomes available once a reason is entered and there is at least one actual change.

Submit the request

Tap the submit action to send the correction request for review.

What should happen: The form closes. Your request now shows as 'Pending' on that clock-in.

Result

Your correction request is saved and waits for manager review, with the pending status visible from the same clock-in record.

Common problems

The submit button stays disabled
Make sure you changed at least one time field and entered a reason. If nothing changed from the original record, the app will not let you submit the request.
