How to use field work tracking

Track time spent working away from your main location.

Before you start

  • You must already be clocked in.
  • Your organization must have field work tracking enabled.

Steps

1

Open the clocked-in action sheet

From the home screen, open the action sheet while you are clocked in.

What should happen: You see the controls for your active work session, including field work options if enabled.

Start field work

Tap 'Start Field Work' when you leave the main site.

What should happen: The app marks field work as active during your current shift.

End field work when you finish

Return to the action sheet and tap the action that ends the current field work session.

What should happen: The app closes the field work session and returns you to the standard clocked-in state.

Result

Your field work time is saved and shows up in your activity history.

Common problems

I cannot see field work tracking
Field work tracking is controlled by organization settings. If you do not see the control, your manager may need to enable it first.
